Happy Happy Joy Joy! This is one of my favorite cartoon in the 90s. I was in my early teen when I first watched this crazy insane cartoons. I believe it still showing in Cartoon Network or some other channel in Astro. Anyway this is Medicom Kubrick (again!).

George's wedding.

Yesterday, I posted the pictures of Jean Burzycki and said that she had two sons, Tom and George. Today I received news that George passed away this morning. He was 63. What shocking news!!

In light of that news, our news of a mishap is really nothing. We discovered today that our car needs brakes and unless we can get the job done on Monday we will have to delay our trip to Wroclaw. I made arrangements for the work to be done and now it is just a question of whether or not they can complete it Monday. But this is nothing compared to the news I just received about George.

Wczoraj napisałem zdjęcia Jean Burzycki i powiedział, że miał dwóch synów, Tom i George. Dzisiaj otrzymałem wiadomość, że George zmarł dziś rano. Był 63. Co szokujące wieści!

W świetle tej wiadomości, nasze wiadomości nieszczęśliwego naprawdę nic. Odkryliśmy dzisiaj, że nasz samochód musi hamulce i jeśli nie uda nam się skończyć pracę w poniedziałek będziemy mieli opóźnienie naszej podróży do Wrocławia. Zrobiłem warunków pracy do wykonania, a teraz jest tylko kwestia, czy mogą one zakończyć ją w poniedziałek. Ale to nic w porównaniu do I właśnie otrzymał wiadomość o George.

Nothing makes my day more than when I receive information or new pictures from a family member. Today was a day like that. Ann Burzycki, wife of cousin Tom, sent these pictures to me of Jeanette Burzycki. My grandfather Adam Kazmierczak had a sister, Cecylia(Kazmierczak)Dąbrowska, who had two sons and a daughter, Jeanette Dąbrowska. Eventually the last name was changed to the Americanized version of the name, Dombrowski. Jeanette married Conrad Burzycki. Jeanette had two sons, Tom and George Burzycki.

Nic nie ma więcej niż mój dzień po otrzymaniu informacji lub nowych zdjęć z członkiem rodziny. Dziś był dzień w tym stylu. Ann Burzycki, żona kuzyna Toma, wysłał do mnie te zdjęcia z Jeanette Burzycki. Its has been a while I post about Transformers. This is MP03G MasterPiece Starscream Ghost Ver from TakaraTomy. I received this last week with July Shipment from CH-Toynation. These are ultimate collectors item from Japan! There is a similar version from HongKong but this one comes with a Transformer Comic book that is available only in Japan version!

This item is so cool when I opened it. Really jaw dropping details and colors. The whole robot is fully made of plastic.

Fountain and insulation.

Nice day again so we went to the grassland in front of the Opera House to watch the fountain spray it's water in the air. It was even a little cool in the shade so we sat on a bench in the sun for a while then walked across the street to the little park behind the Zamek. It's a nice little place with benches that face the back of the Zamek and toward the sun. Sat there for a while looking at the building and talking about how much nicer it looks now that they have cleaned the outside walls. Next to it is a little private section with an outside cafe used mostly by local people and students when school is in session. School doesn't start until October so the place was fairly empty of people.

Arriving back home we were surprised to see two trucks in front of the building setting up scaffolding to install insulation on the outside of the building. I think the next few months will be noisy while they do their work but the end result should bring down our heating bills this winter. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

August 12th Joan and I celebrate our 35th year together and I have already made the plan. Dinner at Bernadino's(cousin Maciej's restaurant), the 13th we will go to a free music concert in the Zamek and on Saturday I have purchased two tickets to four classical guitar concerts in Aula, the music hall. Two of the concerts are with full orchestra and are my favorite two works from my days of playing classical guitar. We heard them many years ago in the Chicago Symphony Hall with the greatest guitarist, Andreas Segovia. It will be good to hear them again. So it will really be a 3 day celebration of my love for Joan although I celebrate it everyday.

Mily dzień ponownie więc poszliśmy do użytków zielonych przed Opera House do obejrzenia spray to fontanna wody w powietrzu. Było nawet trochę ochłodzić w cieniu więc siedzieliśmy na ławce w słońcu na chwilę a następnie przeszedł przez ulicę w parku za mało Zamek. Jest to miły, mało miejsca z ławkami, które zmagają się z tyłu i Zamek w kierunku słońca. Siedziałem tam patrząc na budynek i mówi o tym, jak dużo ładniej to wygląda teraz, że mają one oczyszczone ściany zewnętrzne. Obok jest mały prywatny punkt z zewnątrz Kafejka wykorzystywany głównie przez lokalnych mieszkańców i studentów, kiedy szkoła jest w sesji. Szkoły nie rozpocznie się dopiero w październiku więc miejsce dość pustych ludzi.

Powrocie do domu byliśmy zaskoczeni, aby zobaczyć w dwie ciężarówki przed budynkiem tworzenie rusztowania do instalacji izolacji na zewnątrz budynku. Myślę, że najbliższe miesiące będą oni hałasu podczas ich pracy, ale efekt końcowy powinien obniżyć nasze rachunki za ogrzewanie tej zimy. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!

12 sierpnia Joan i ja świętować 35-cia roku razem i mam już plan. Kolacja w Bernadino's (kuzyn restauracja Macieja), 13 pójdziemy do wolnego Koncert w Zamku oraz w soboty Kupiłem dwa bilety na cztery koncerty muzyki klasycznej na gitarze w Aula, sala koncertowa. Dwa koncerty z pełną orkiestrą i to moje ulubione dwie prace z czasów gry na gitarze klasycznej. Słyszeliśmy wiele lat temu w Chicago Symphony Hall z największą gitarzysta Andreas Segovia. To będzie dobre, aby usłyszeć je ponownie. Więc to naprawdę się na 3 dniowy obchody moja miłość do Joan choć świętować codziennie.

Hang Up and Drive/The Great Hang Up with News10

Since my blue-tooth went missing (I know where it is, but I cannot figure out how to get it), I decided to take part in News10's obstacle course that proved you cannot text and drive at the same time. I already knew this, but it was fun to take my car through a narrow set of cones while dodging small children, basketballs and random stop signs.  Although I did not knock over any cones or hit any kids I did prove that I cannot type accurately on my BlackBerry while driving (which means I probably should not be trying to type on it in the first place).  The best part (for me at least) I got a free blue tooth courtesy of Yakety Yak in Rocklin, a few News10 key-chains and some other goodies.  So make the pledge, use a blue-tooth while driving (please not when you are walking down the street, that kind of freaks me out) and do not text while driving. Basically when you drive make paying attention to the road your first priority - Hang Up & Drive.

Description: The new LFA marks an important moment in both the history of Lexus and the development of the supercar. A true “clean-sheet” design, the LFA was created by a small, passionate and dedicated team of engineers whose achievement has been to push the boundaries of technologies materials and engineering at every stage to produce a car like no other to have carried the Lexus badge. Constructed using advanced carbon fibre technology, the rear-wheel drive LFA is powered by a bespoke, high-revving 552bhp 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, matched to a rear-mounted six-speed sequential automatic transmission, giving 200mph-plus performance. In the words of Chief Engineer Haruhiko Tanahashi: “The LFA is a thoroughbred supercar, a machine engineered to achieve a single goal – to deliver a supreme driving experience. Over the past decade we have pushed every boundary in pursuit of this goal and I believe we have created the most driver-orientated car we possibly could.” CARBON FIBRE CONSTRUCTION Keeping the car’s weight to an absolute minimum was one of the defining elements in the development of the LFA and this led to the decision to switch from using aluminium for the car’s construction to advanced Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) for the chassis and bodywork. Moreover, Lexus decided the CFRP structure should be built in-house rather than by a third-party supplier. In doing so, it drew on Toyota Motor Corporation’s heritage in textile weaving technology to push the boundaries of its technical abilities, developing new carbon fibre looms and a laser system for monitoring the integrity of the material. At four times the strength of aluminium, CFRP gives the LFA an exceptionally stiff and strong structure, and also delivers major weight advantages, saving around 100kg on an equivalent aluminium body. CFRP accounts for 65 per cent of the body-in-white, with aluminium alloy used for the remaining 35 per cent. Unlike the few other vehicles on the market that use CFRP construction, the LFA uses the same advanced resin technology favoured by cutting-edge aerospace programmes for its unmatched weight and strength properties. ENGINE The heart of the LFA is a bespoke, naturally aspirated V10 engine that sets new standards for compact dimensions, lightweight architecture and scintillating performance. From the outset it was determined the engine should have a 4,805cc capacity, develop 552bhp and rev to a wailing 9,000rpm red line. A 72-degree angle between the cylinder heads is ideal for achieving balance in the engine for exceptionally smooth running, while providing individual, electronically controlled throttle bodies for each cylinder gives excellent throttle response. Using a dry sump lubrication system allows the block to be positioned deep in the engine bay, lowering the car’s centre of gravity and moment of inertia, and enabling the engine to handle sustained, high-speed cornering. The V10 produces 480Nm of torque at 6,800rpm, 90 per cent of which is available from 3,700rpm all the way to the 9,000rpm red line, thanks to Dual VVT-i technology, equal length exhaust manifolds and high-volume, 12-hole fuel injectors. This gives searing in-hear acceleration at all engine speeds and in any gear: nought to 62mph takes just 3.7 seconds and maximum speed is 202mph. With a kerb weight of 1,480kg, the LFA has a power to weight ratio of 373bhp per tonne, while specific output of 115bhp per litre is among the highest of any current supercar, aided by a high, 12:1 compression ratio, low friction internals and optimised intake and exhaust flow. In spite of its potency, the V10 is an object lesson in compact and lightweight packaging, being about the same size as a regular V8 engine and weighing about as much as conventional V6. It is also as reliable and refined as any other Lexus power plan and exceeds Euro 5 emissions standards. The engine was developed in conoctction with Yamaha through the established collaborative partnership between Toyota Motor Corporation and the Japanese specialist engineering company.
