Gotthard base tunnel in Switzerland is a very amazing and longest tunnel.
The tunnel has been under construction since 1993 and it's schedule of completion is 2017,it is longest train tunnel in planet and it will span 35 miles.
The current tunnel which is longest till the time is Seikan tunnel in japan,which was completed in 1988 and 33.49 miles and a large portion of tunnel is underwater.
